Our Founder: Hon. George Moseti Anyona
Known as the 'One-Man Opposition', Anyona founded the Kenya Social Congress in 1992 on principles of ideological purity and social democracy, steadfastly refusing to engage in the ethnic-based politics of the era.

His mastery of parliamentary 'Standing Orders' made him a legendary figure in the fight for legislative independence.

A Legacy of "The Broom"
Founded in 1992 during the restoration of multi-party democracy, the Kenya Social Congress (KSC) adopted the broom as its symbol. This wasn't merely a household tool—it was a promise to the Kenyan people to sweep clean the halls of power from the dust of corruption and ethnic division.
For over three decades, we have remained consistent. While other parties have formed and dissolved, KSC stands firm in its original ideology: social justice, transparency, and the rule of law.
